Last visit Brego

This afternoon we went to see Brego and his littermates for the last time. The next time we'll drive that way (friday) we're gonna take him home with us.

In the next picture the breeder is preparing food for the puppies, and they all seem to be very hungry, some even jumped against the kitchendoors to get to the food.

Brego's First Vaccination

Yesterday evening the puppies went to the vet for their first vaccination and checkup. They all passed.
For the first time in the car.

Toby en Brego

We went to see Brego today, and Toby went with us. He's still a little bit stressed inside the breeders house. But it is getting better, today he didn't jump on the sofa to flee outside. After a while he lay down near where the puppie-ben is.

He even came inside the puppie-ben to look and see the puppies.

But now some pictures of the boy that we came to see today, our bigger and bigger growing fawn/white handsome Brego. Isn't he great, we do think so.


Ok and for bonus material our 2 boys together. And as you can see Brego has still a lot of growing to do.

Brego Outside Debut

Brego and his littermates went outside for the first time.

Afterwards he needed to rest. In this next two pictures you can see him relax and sleep.

Brego 4 weeks

We visited Brego again. He is 4 weeks old and his weight is now 2,3 Kg. Franky the breeder expects him to be somewhat around 5,5 Kg when we come and pick him up to live with us on february 2. We will see, time will tell. The first teeth showed up this week, so now they start to examine what teeth are made for and start to bite on everything including each other and their mother.

It was very joyful seeing the puppies walk around, and wiggle their tails, and barking. They are becoming more and more real doggies.
The next video was made with my new phone. Brego ofcourse has the lead role. First he comes to me (I'm sitting on the ground between the puppies) and climbs on my lap. Next he walks away and plays with a littermate behind the dog-basket and sits somewhat confused underneath the fly-curtain. But again he comes to me, and when Franky calls him he is wiggling his tail all over and as a reward he starts chewing on the teddy of her mule.

But they are still very young and still need to sleep a lot. I made the next picture of Brego sleeping on his back with his head on a toy next to a littermate.

Visit Brego

We visited Brego and his littermates again. Brego's hair is already growing and he wheighs about 1300 grams. He still is the largest of the puppies.

We took our niece and nephew with us to look at the puppies, and they enjoyed the visit very much. Here's a picture of our niece inside the puppybox. I think the smile on her face tells it all. In this picture she is holding Brego on her lap.

When we drove home they told us that Brego was the most adorable pup from the litter.

Visit Maastricht

24 December we visited the breeder of Brego again. Brego weighs somewhat less than 1 Kilogram and is the heaviest pup now. He is already starting to eat meat. Here's a picture of Brego and his littermates drinking with Mum.

Brego 2 weeks old

Yesterday Brego was 14 days old, and we received this picture from Franky the breeder.


Wednesday Brego opened his eyes for the first time, so now he can see the world around him. Let's hope he doesn't get scared when he sees us for the first time

Kamikaze Brego

When we visited the puppies yesterday, we also made some movies (with our photocamera). In this movie, the pups are sleeping at first and then Brego starts to move and knocks over one of the other pups. Oops.

Second visit Dogbreeder

Today we visited the pups at the dogbreeder for the second time. The puppies are 9 days old. This time we took our Beardie-boy Toby with us. He was very impressed by the male-dog of the house and did'nt want to take a look at the new puppie Brego, that I was holding in front of him, he just wanted to go home.

New Pictures Brego

I received some new pictures of Brego. The pups are 5 days old. Isn't he a sweety.

His nose is starting to get pigmentation as you can see in the second picture.

New Litter

On december 8, 2006 a litter of Bearded Collies is born, 3 boys and 4 girls. One of these boys is a fawn the others are brown. 2 girls are fawn and the other 2 girls are brown.

The fawn boy is the one that is going to live with us, together with our beardie boy Toby.
On the picture he is the puppie that has the white collar marks and is lying on top of his siblings.
