Toby and Brego Playing

This morning Brego and Toby started to play again. This time in our bedroom. Here are 3 movies that I couldn't choose from.

Bearded Collie Walk

Saturday we went to a Bearded Collie Walk. There were about 30 Beardies present. When we drove there it was raining and when we drove home it was raining again, but fortunately it was dry when we walked around. We took a little transportcar with us for Brego so that he didn't have to walk to long, it is a little bit too young for that.


Brego's sister MG was there as well, and the two of them even played a little.

Playing in the Morning

This whole week Toby and Brego have started playing together in the morning time. We weren't able yet to make pictures or movies of this very fun to see activity. Everytime our camera was out of reach or we just forgot to film because we were enjoying the scene. This morning it finally happened (the filming). Before we went to bed last night I placed the camera in a strategic place and Yes.... I was able to shoot some footage. The movies are a little bit dark but you get the picture.

Pyjama Party

Last night our niece and nephew came to sleep over. When this happens Toby is always waiting in front of their room in the morning to wake them up. Well actually to steal their stuffed toys but that doesn't sound as good.
It was the first time that they stayed over since Brego came to live with us, so it was fun to see how Brego would respond.

Market

This morning Brego and Toby laid on the couch together.

In the afternoon Brego went to the Market. First he had to get into the doggyride. The market is only a 10 minute walk from our home but sitting in the doggyride is also something that he has to get used to.


It was very lovely weather, the sun was shining. When Brego arrived at the market he was very calm, it didn't seem to bother him that there were a lot of people. Once in a while he sat down to look around but he never wined or so. A big difference with Toby when he was this age and went to the market. He did wine the first times we went there. But not Brego.

Snowfun

Yesterday it snowed in the Netherlands. As most dogs do Toby enjoys this very much. He went into the garden when the snow just began to fall, and wouldn't come back in the house.

So after a while there was a white pile of snow in the garden with a dog underneed it.

It was the first time for Brego to see snow. At first he didn't like to come out of the house, but once he investigated the snow he liked it very much.

He even started playing with some snow Rob was throwing towards him.

They both enjoyed the snow together.

Toby begins to get used to Brego being around, sometimes he is trying to play, but he is a little bit to wild for Brego who then walkes away a little bit confused.

Brego's Rabbit Adventure

Brego and his first Rabbit Adventure.
First the rabbit cage is opened.....

The first Rabbit Pepper leaves the cage....

Then the white one (Vlekje) leaves the cage as well....

Brego is still sniffing and hasn't got a clue....

Then he spots the rabbits and start chasing them....

Then Brego is put on the leash....

The rabbit are glad they could fled inside their cage....

Pepper has left the cage again and can now wander the garden without Brego chasing her....

And Brego keeps on following Pepper wherever she goes.

Well he isn't dreaming, but he is our dream for sure.

New Orange Ball

We went to the petshop this afternoon to buy some food for Brego, and there it was a new orange ball, I couldn'r resist it and brought it home with me. Toby already has one with white dots and it's his most prefered toy, now he's got with black dots as well and a little squeeck inside of it.

Deja Vu

Brego played with a pinecone he found in the garden. I experienced a Deja Vu, Toby did this as well when he was just a few days with us.


And here is Brego lying on the foot of our parasol, and again some kind of Deja Vu.

Biking to the Park

This afternoon we went on our bike to the park nearby. Toby walked beside my bike attached to the springer and Brego was inside the doggyride behind Rob's bike. The park is very close to our home, but we wanted to see how Brego would respond. He seemed to enjoy the ride, and when we arrived in the park some kids where playing there and they all petted the dogs.

Floyd a brown beardie boy of 8 months that lives by the park came outside and played somewhat with Toby.

Puppy class

Brego went to his first lesson of the puppy class. He got a lot of attention from everybody. We've heard a lot of Oooooooohs and Aaaaaaahs. Today the most important aspect was getting used to all kind of dogs and humans.

Toy Basket

The night went OK again. He awoke about 4 in the night, we took him outside and he did a pee and a poo, after that he slept immediately and awoke again about half past 7.
This morning Brego discovered the Toy Basket again.

He even climbed on top of the toys. Isn't that the greatest toy of all?

DoggyRide

Brego's first night went very well. We have a bench on our bedroom next to our bed. Brego went in there and he weened a little at first but fell asleep very quick. He slept until 5:30 in the morning when Rob took him outside and he did a pee-pee. So it was a short night but a dry one!
Today we setup the doggyride and Brego was finding it very interesting.

Later on we put him inside the car and walked around the garden with him in it. He didn't find it scary what so ever, he even feel asleep.

Both Doggies

I discovered a movie on my phone that I made yesterday when we got home. Both Toby and Brego are featuring in it. On the Rocking-bench are al the goodies that we received from the breeder Franky and all of her friends.

Brego First Day Home

This morning we took Brego home with us. It was a one hour drive, that went very well. In the beginning of drive home he squeeked a little but after a short period awake he fell asleep inside the car.

When we got home Rob went on biking with Toby and Brego investigated the garden


and later on the living room.

He ate

He slept after he walked into the bench by himself. With him are some toys and a towel that we got with us from Maastricht.

The girl next door (Angela) came to visit

He played some more


And he fell asleep again, this time we closed the door of the bench.

And he ate and pee-ed again.
He didn't pee in the house yet, he did pee in the garden several times already, we keep our fingers crossed, and ofcourse our eyes on Brego so that we can put him outside just in time.
