Puzzle Doggies

Last week I bought some puzzle games for doggies. One game the Dog Smart where the dog has to pick up the pieces with their mouth to find some treat underneath. Brego does not understand this yet but Toby does as he is showing in the next movie:

The other puzzle game I bought is the Dog Twister, where the dog has to shuffle some pieces so that a treat is discovered underneath. Brego is using his legs and claws more than his mouth and with this game that is working fine as you can see in the next move:

These games should be mind challenging for dogs and therefore very suited for smart bearded collies to keep their mind busy. The games are from Nina Ottossen and are used with dog behavioural therapy as well. Because I am studying for dog behavioural therapist I brought these games with me to see whether our doggies would find them stimulating as well. Well so far so good, they seem to enjoy them very much. Because they are made of wood, the toys should be taken away from the dogs when your not there to guide them.
